Jamaican-born Sandi Morais has a BA degree from Florida International University. Exercise and eating healthy is a very important part of Sandi's lifestyle. Sandi wanted to study and learn more about preparing healthy meals so she went on to attend Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. One of the highlights in her culinary journey was the opportunity to study FoodArt Design with Disney's World Class Chef Johnny Rivers.
Sandi is a Vegan Chef with a passion to promote healthy living, she is the author of Vegan Recipe for Life cook book. Chef Sandi also had the opportunity to prepare some of her meals for Celebrities such as Grammy Award Reggae Band "Inner Circle." International Bellydancer Sadie Marquardt, and New York Artist Chakaia Booker.
She was the private chef for the owner of La Vie Wellness Center, and she also taught the Vegan cooking classes for the wellness center. Chef Sandi had the opportunity to demonstration her signature Jerk Tofu dish at the largest Jamaican Jerk Festival in the US. She also taught a series of Vegan cooking classes at Mt. Sinai Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and a cooking demonstration class at The Tupperware and the Central Florida Fair.
Her column Celebrate Healthy Cooking was featured monthly in Caribbean American Passport news magazine. in 2016 Chef Sandi was a contributor to the Malanikai "Dare to Speak your Mind" radio show 1570 WIGO Wellness Wednesdays. Chef Sandi currently organize health and wellness seminars for Bellywood Studio in Orlando, Florida.
Prior to being a Vegan Chef, Sandi was the Physical Education teacher at Sunset Christian Academy in Miami, Florida for 7 years, and a Pre-School teacher for 5 years. Sandi also worked one-on-one with a Special Needs student at the Family Children Development Center in Miami, Florida for 3 years. Sandi was also the Fitness instructor for Rivera School's community fitness program in Miami, Florida.
